Samsung washers are chosen for their quality, laconic design and high degree of reliability. Still, every appliance will last long under the condition of proper maintenance and regular cleaning. When the owner fails to take care of the appliance, the washer starts leaking. The issue with leakage often appears due to one or several factors. Check the washing machine's water supply and door seal for leaks. The door gasket or diaphragm on a washing machine ensures that all of the water stays in the washer when the door is closed. Even if there are no visible blockages, check your Samsung door boot seal for damage that can also result in leaks. Rips, tears, or holes can compromise the seal and cause leaking. A damaged door boot seal must be replaced. Use the right amount of HE detergent, and remove detergent residue from the washing machine. Clean the washing machine pump filter (front load only). Make sure the washing machine is level. The washer drum may also be unbalanced if the washer isn’t level. Make sure your washer’s legs sit squarely on the floor and that the flooring is stable. If the legs aren’t sitting evenly on the ground, consult your user manual to determine how to level the legs, so they sit squarely. Make sure the washing machine's drain hose is installed correctly. Inspect every hose and its connections (on both ends) for damage. This includes the rubber on the hose, the o-rings inside the ends of the hoses, and anything the hoses connect to. Damaged hoses and o-rings should be replaced. Check for Samsung washing machine leaks with a test cycle. If you’re not able to get the problem resolved with the above troubleshooting tips, contact our customer support team and arrange a meeting at a convenient time. Don’t postpone the issue as it may turn into a more serious breakdown.
