Read this piece of information of your Freezer U-line U-CLR2160S-00 produces very thin ice cubes. First check the switch and make sure it is not in the clean position. Check for compressor operation. If the machine is in the clean position the compressor will not run and form ice. If the ice cubes are small or hollow this may be a result of your ice maker not getting enough water. This usually is due to the water filter being clogged or a restricted water supply. It is recommended to change the water filter first but if the condition still occurs then you want to check for a saddle valve, a water valve not turned on all the way or a kinked water supply line. Remember, smaller ice cubes or ice chips jamming in the ice maker may be a sign that your water filter needs changing. As the water filter becomes older (6 months or more) it can become clogged with particles and less water is delivered to the ice maker. The ice maker can’t fill every cube in the ice maker mold, leading to small cubes or ice chips that can get caught between the ice ejector blades and the stripper. The manufacturer suggests condenser cleaning every three months. To maintain operational efficiency, keep the front grille free of dust and lint and clean the condenser every three months. Depending on environmental conditions, more or less frequent cleaning may be necessary. Unfortunately, the issue can be caused by faulty parts. It is necessary to check the sealed system. We do not recommend doing it yourself. There is a wonderful opportunity to give us a call and arrange a meeting at any convenient time. Our professionals will run a full diagnostic, replace the faulty sealed system and add freon if needed.
