What if my Samsung dryer is noisy?

Remove the belt from the dryer and try to turn the drum by hand. If the rollers do not spin freely or wobble, they should be replaced. The idler pulley provides tension on the drum belt not allowing it to fall off. It is located at the bottom of the dryer near to the drive motor. When the idler pulley is bad, the dryer makes a squealing or a roaring noise. If the pulley does not roll freely when the belt is removed, it should be replaced. Before calling a repair assistant, make sure you’ve done the steps below. Level the dryer. First, retract the leveling feet completely. Use a carpenter's level to check which feet need adjusting, and then adjust them with a wrench. (You can reduce vibration by adjusting the leveling feet to the minimum necessary amount.)
