Open the refrigerator door. Locate the drain hole. Remove the bottom vegetable drawers for better access to the drain hole. Insert one end of the plumbing snake into the drain hole as far as it will go. Push the snake up and down gently to loosen any clog. Remove the snake. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of baking soda down the drain. Pour 2 cups of hot water down the drain slowly. Use a basting syringe if the cup lacks a spout in which to direct the water's flow. Wipe the area dry before returning the vegetable drawers to their original places. Locate the drain pan under your refrigerator in which the drain tube empties. Remove the refrigerator's front grill plate. Place a towel at the base of the fridge to catch any spills. Empty the accumulated baking soda-water solution. Clean the pan of any other residue, and return it to its original position. Replace the front grill plate and plug in the refrigerator. Push the appliance back into its spot.
