All refrigerators makes sound, when they turned on. You mustn't panic because normal sounds exist, but if your Refrigerator GE 90280JC is very loud, learn our article, to know what to do in case of loud noise.
First of all you must to understand type of sound. On the official site of GE refrigerators signed all types of rumour. Such as chirping/barking/woof/howl sound can sometimes be heard as the damper door opens/closes. On new refrigerators it is not unusual for the door to whistle or squeak. This occurs because the gasket (rubber material around inner perimeter of the door) is sealing very tightly. This noise will stop in a few days once the gasket becomes more pliable.
If you hear loud noise from the bottom of refrigerator. If so, there could be an obstruction in one of the fridge’s two fans. One is a condenser fan located in the bottom of the refrigerator, and the other is an evaporator fan in the freezer compartment. Identify which area the sound seems to be coming from, and then disconnect the power to troubleshoot. If the sound seems located in the condenser fan, remove the rear access panel and inspect for anything that could be blocking the fan’s blades. If the blades are damaged, they’ll need to be replaced. (While you’re down there, it’s a good time to clean the coils, which should be done at least once a year to keep things running smoothly; here’s how.)
If the sound emanates from inside the freezer, remove the evaporator fan cover located inside the freezer. Remove any debris that may be blocking the fan blades and inspect for broken parts that need to be replaced.
Alternatively, your fridge may not be level. Place a level atop the fridge and adjust the legs accordingly. All you have to do to get it working is to adjust the front legs so that the refrigerator tips back slightly. Have a helper tip the fridge slightly back so you can get under it. Unscrew the front legs a couple turns to raise them. Put the refrigerator down. Use a level on the front edge of the refrigerator to make sure the legs are even. Partially open the door and walk away. It should close by itself now.
