Thanks to the high quality and long lifespan, Miele dishwashers are able to serve long without any troubleshooting. Surely, the owners are obliged to clean it properly and ensure proper maintenance. Nevertheless, even the best units are not immune to minor and significant issues appearing while usage. A broken or defective bracket is one of such issues. When you load or unload the dishwasher, the bottom dish rack usually sits on the open door. If the dishwasher has a tendency to tilt forward, gravity can cause a loaded bottom dish rack to roll off the door and onto the floor, possibly damaging the dishes or your flooring. Inspect your dishwasher to ensure it's connected to your countertop correctly and replace any missing parts. If you need to install new brackets on your Miele dishwasher, remove power to the dishwasher first. Cautiously slide the dishwasher out from under the counter. Install the brackets onto the mounting holes at the top or sides of the dishwasher. If applicable, bend the bracket above the mounting holes to define the correct angle. Slide the dishwasher back into place. Line the brackets up so they are straight and positioned correctly. Secure the screws into the brackets and into the bottom of the countertop or side of the cabinet. Apply power to the dishwasher and test for tilting. We strongly recommend contacting a Pro in case of the dead end or any doubts about DIY!
