It may be hard to track the problem why your Frigidaire refrigerator isn’t cooling. It is likely due to a faulty part. The most common faulty parts when your refrigerator isn’t cooling are evaporator fan motor, condenser fan motor, start relay and so on. If your freezer is still functioning properly while your refrigerator won’t cool, this a sign that it may be a problem with the evaporator fan motor. When the fan is not flowing properly, is excessively noisy, or the motor doesn’t display continuity, it needs to be replaced. A condenser fan motor is another part that is crucial to your refrigerator’s cool air circulation, except likely neither the refrigerator or freezer will be cooling properly. It should be examined similarly to the evaporator fan motor. The condenser fan blade will need to be checked for obstructions and the motor for continuity. If the start relay is faulty, it can cause problems with the refrigerator’s compressor (which circulates refrigerant through condenser and evaporator coils). It should tested for continuity and replaced if necessary. If you are concerned about your refrigerator not cooling, don’t hesitate to contact us! We would be happy to help!
