Solved! Dishwasher Miele G 5000 not working properly

Dishwasher is one of the most used appliances at your home. When it gives a problem with some programs or isn’t working properly, the problem might be in the door latch assembly. The dishwasher won't start if the door isn't completely shut and latched. If the door doesn't latch shut, replace the latch mechanism. In this article you will find a simple step-by-step guide on how to replace door latch assembly in dishwasher Miele g 5000.

1. Unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the dishwasher. To verify that power is disconnected, make sure that you can't activate the display on the control panel. 
2. Remove the Torx screws from the inner door panel, supporting the outer door panel with one hand as you remove the final 2 screws so the outer door panel doesn't fall. Separate the outer door panel and control panel from the inner door panel, and let the outer panel rest on the floor while you disconnect the user interface control wire harness from the control panel. Pull off the outer door panel and control panel.
3. Unplug the door switch wire harness from the latch assembly. Release the locking tabs and pull the door latch assembly out of the inner door panel.
4. Insert the new door latch assembly and engage the locking tab. Plug in the door switch wire harness.
5. Position the outer door panel and control panel close enough to the inner door so you can reconnect the user interface control wire harness. Reconnect the user interface control wire harness and attach the outer door panel and control panel to the inner door panel. Reinstall the mounting screws.
6. Reset the house circuit breaker or plug in the dishwasher to restore electrical power.
