We got a complaint that the dishwasher door doesn’t hold inthe open position. Visual check of the door revealed no damage or deformationof the door.
Door hinges examination showed neither deformation nordamage. It was time to inspect the springs and cords of the loops.
To make this possible we had to remove the dishwasher fromthe kitchen furniture. While checking, it was found that the loop was torn outdue to a breakdown of the plastic spring retainer. Both springs and loop cordswere replaced.
Notably, new parts have been improved by Bosch engineers incomparison with the old ones; a change in design will contribute to a longerlife of the door springs. The dishwasher has been fixed.
